George Hadl Heimler (M / Hungary, 1938) and Paul Hadl Heimler (M / Hungary, 1938) were twins and child survivors of the Holocaust.

NOTES : George & Paul Hadl were twins. They were born Feb 9, 1938 in Budapest, Hungary. They were deported to Auschwitz in July 1944. As twins, they were selected for medical experiments by Josef Mengele. Their mother also was spared and allowed to stay with them. They remained in Auschwitz until liberation on January 27, 1945. After the war, the twins and their mother returned to Budapest. The mother remarried with Imre Heimler, who adopted the twins. George and Paul eventually emigrated to the United States in 1957.
