George H.C. Macgregor (1892-1963) was a British scholar.

Biography

A graduate of Gonville and Caius Colleges, Cambridge and an ordained minister, George H.C. Macgregor became Bruce Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, Scotland in 1928 and Hosmer Professor of New Testament Exegesis in Hartford Theological Seminary in Connecticut from 1929 in 1933. In 1933 he returned to the University of Glasgow as Professor of Divinity and Biblical Criticism until his death in 1963.
