Εκλογή Χρονογραφίας <Greek> / Chronography (ca.810) is a manuscript work by George Syncellus.

Abstract

The work is relevant for Second Temple Studies and Enochic Studies as it contains the so-called Enoch Fragments of Syncellus, which until the end of the 18th century were the only textual evidence of the "lost" Book of Enoch.

Editions

The text widely circulated in manuscript form, and was first published as a whole in 1562 by Jacques Goar. The Enoch Fragments of Syncellus were first printed in 1606 by Joseph Justus Scaliger.
