The Thorn of Arimathea (1959) is a novel by Frank G. Slaughter.

Abstract

“A novel of the days following the crucifixion,” introduces Quintus Volusianus, a Roman centurion-physician, who travels from Judea to Britain with Joseph of Arimathea and Veronica, falls in love with her, becomes a Christian, and witnesses the founding of the first English Church at Glastonbury.
