Karl Wilhelm Dindorf (1802-1883) was a German scholar. A specialist in classical studies, he taught for some years at his Alma Mater, the University of Leipzig (1828-33), before he resigned and devoted himself entirely to his research work. He published critical editions of the works of several ancient authors, including Demosthenes, Lucian, Josephus, Eusebius, and George Syncellus.
