Theatre Music to Roche's Belshazzar, op. 58 (1924) is a piece of incidental music to [[]].

Abstract

Commissioned by the Palestine Theatre, 1923. Originally composed for small orchestra, 1924; these excerpts reorchestrated for large orchestra, 1931.

Editions and performances

Published in 1931. Premiered in Los Angeles, CA: 16 May 1939, by the Los Angeles Federal Symphony Orchestra of the Works Progress Administration, Gastone Usigli conductor.
