Alcoranus (1632) is a manuscript by Johann Zechendorf (1580-1662).

Abstract

The manuscript includes a text of the Qur'an with interlinear Latin translation word for word and comments in margin.

It consists of 1132 pages.

Editions

The entire translation was never published. Zechendorf published only 2 booklets on the Qur'an. It was rediscovered in 2014 by Roberto Tottoli at the Cairo National Library
