Harry M. Orlinsky (1908-1992) was a Canadian Jewish scholar. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, Orlinsky graduated from the University of Toronto, Canada, and earned hid PhD from Dropsie College. After a postdoctoral year at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1935, he taught post-Biblical Jewish history at Baltimore Hebrew College, 1936-44. He then moved at the New York School of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, where he remained for almost a half-century.
