Edward Harwood (1729-1794) was a British scholar.

Biography

A prolific English classical scholar and biblical critic, Edward Harwood was born at Darwen, Lancashire, in 1729 and died at Hyde Street, Bloomsbury in 1794. His major contribution was in the field of New Testament Studies; he published an Introduction, a translation and an edition of the New Testament.
