Mikiel Anton Vassalli (1814-1903) was a Maltese scholar.

Biography

Camilleri was a former Catholic priest. He converted to Protestantism and was commissioned by the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge to revise and complete the translation of the New Testament initiated by Mikiel Anton Vassalli.
