Emil Turdeanu (1911-2001) was a Romanian scholar.

Biography

Emil Turdeanu was born in Romania and graduated from the University of Bucharest. He taught Romanian language and literature at the Sorbonne, Paris (1948-1972) and then at the University La Sapienza, Rome (1977-1983). He died in France.
