According to Jewish tradition, Deborah was a prophetess, a warrior, and one of the Judges of ancient Israel.
Overview
The story of Deborah is narrated in the Book of Judges. The wife of Lapidoth is the only female Judge recorded in the ancient tradition of Israel. She successfully led the Israelites in battle.
