Moses Schorr (1874-1941) was a Jewish-Polish scholar.

Biography

Rabbi, historian, orientalist. Professor of Semitic Languages at Lviv and Warsaw Universities. Member of Polish Senate. Scholar of ancient Semitic studies published extensively on Babylonian and Assyrian law. With Meir Balaban and others, was one of the founders of the Institute of Jewish Sciences in Warsaw. Died in a Russian concentration camp during World War II.
