Simon Maccabeus (2nd century BCE) was a member of the Hasmonean dynasty. He ruled as High Priest and King of Judea, from 142 BCE (after his brother Jonathan Maccabeus), to his death in 134 BCE (followed by his son John Hyrcanus).
