Elia Benamozegh (1823-1900) was a Jewish-Italian scholar.

Biography

Rabbi, philosopher and theology professor in rabbinical school in Leghorn. Wrote in Hebrew, Italian, and French. Regarded Cabbala as an essential component of Judaism.
