Giovanni Albinola (1809-1883)

Born in Viggiù (Italy), Albinola was one of Italian patriots exiled in the United States in 1836. Unlike other refugees, he settled in New York. With Giuseppe Avezzana, Quirico Filopanti, Eleuterio Felice Foresti e Felice Argenti, he was part of the Committee that welcomed Garibaldi during his visit in 1850. Died in New York.
