Biography

Richard Gabelin (26 Sep 1942) and Thomas Gabelin (Dec 1944) were the sons of Werner Gabelin (1915–1989) and Lore Mueller (1921–1995). Richard was born in Krefeld, Prussia, Germany were the family resided. Thomas instead was born in Theresienstadt were the family was deported in 1944. The entire survived there until Liberation in May 1945.

Richard died on 28 September 2003, in Bodenwöhr, Schwandorf, Bavaria, Germany, at the age of 61.
