Judith (1761) is an oratorio by Thomas Augustine Arne (mus.) and Isaac Bickerstaff (libr.).

Abstract

It was the first oratorio to use female choristers on the English stage.

Premiered in London, England: Drury Lane, 27 February 1761; and then at the Lock-Hospital chapel, 29 February 1764
