All four Gospels state that after releasing Barabbas, Pilate had Jesus flogged and handed him over to be crucified.

Gospel of Mark 15:15 (NRSV) -- [15] So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.
Gospel of Matthew
Matthew 27:26 (NRSV) -- 26 So he (=Pilate released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.
Gospel of Luke
Luke 23:25 (NRSV) -- 25 He (=Pilate) released the man (=Barabbas) they asked for, the one who had been put in prison for insurrection and murder, and he handed Jesus over as they wished.
