Jurij Dalmatin (1547-1589) was a Slovenian scholar and Lutheran reformer. In 1584 he was the editor and co-author (with Primož Trubar) of the first translation of the whole Bible into Slovenian.

Jurij Dalmatin was born in Krško [Slovenia] in 1547. A Slovene Lutheran reformer, Dalmatin published several religious book and in 1584 was the editor and co-author (with Primož Trubar) of the first translation of the whole Bible into Slovenian. Dalmatin died in Ljubljana [Slovenia] in 1589.
