Leviathan; or, The Matter, Forme and Power of a Commonwealth, Ecclesiasticall and Civil (1651) is a book by Thomas Hobbes.
Abstract
Chapter 33 of Hobbes' highly influential political and philosophical treatise openly questioned the Mosaic authorship of the Pentateuch, based on the many inconsistencies and contradictions in the text.
