Stanislas Lyonnet (1902-1986) was a French scholar. Born at Saint-Étienne in 1902, Lyonnet joined the Jesuit Order in 1919 and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1934. He was Professor of new Testament at Lyon-Fourvière (1938-1943) and then (since 1943) at the Pontifical Biblical Institute.
