Levinus Warner (1619–1665) was a Dutch scholar of German descent.
Biography
Levinus Warner for many years served as a representative of the Dutch government in Istanbul, where he was in close contact with the local Karaite community. He collected and studied a great number of manuscripts in Hebrew, Arabic and other languages, which, after his death in 1665, he bequeathed to his alma mater, the University of Leiden.
