Biography

Scottish Biblical scholar. Professor at the Universities of Edinburgh, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. Editor of The Evangelical Quarterly and the Palestinian Exploration Quarterly. A specialist in Paul, devoted special attention to the Dead Sea Scrolls and Second Temple Jewish History.
