Stories from the Life of St. Stephen (1452-1465) is a cycle of paintings by Filippo Lippi.

Abstract

The Life of St. Stephen is illustrated in four episodes:

History and current location

Lippi painted the four stories from the life of Stephen between 1452 and 1465, for the Cappella Maggiore of the Duomo of Prato [Italy], where they are still located. On the opposite wall Lippi painted four parallel Stories from the Life of John the Baptist (1465 Lippi), art.
