La spada e la croce <Italian> / The Sword and the Cross (1958) is a film directed by Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia.
Abstract
During a revolt in Judea, Roman centurion Caio Marcello rescues Maria Magdalene, a beautiful courtesan, from the hands of her captor, Barabbas. The two fall in love but the girl flees to Jerusalem, where she meets Jesus and becomes her follower. Starring Yvonne DeCarlo (Maria Maddalena), and Jorge Mistral (Caio Marcello).
