John C. Trever (1916-2006) was an American scholar.

Biography

First American scholar to see and photograph fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Spring 1948. Professor at Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio, Morris Harvey College in West Virginia, and Claremont School of Theology in California.
