Jerry L. Sumney is Professor of Biblical Studies at Lexington Theological Seminary.
He earned his BA (1978) from David Lipscomb University; his MA (1982) from Harding University, and his PhD (1987) from Southern Methodist University.
From 1986-1997, he taught in the religion department at Ferrum College.
He joined faculty of Lexington Theological Seminary in 1997.

Jerry L. Sumney () is an American scholar.

Biography

Jerry L. Sumney is Professor of Biblical Studies at Lexington Theological Seminary.

He earned his BA (1978) from David Lipscomb University; his MA (1982) from Harding University, and his PhD (1987) from Southern Methodist University.

From 1986-1997, he taught in the religion department at Ferrum College.

He joined faculty of Lexington Theological Seminary in 1997.
