Douglas R.A. Hare (1929-) is a Canadian American scholar.

Biography

Douglas R.A. Hare was born on 22 March 1929 in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada. Hare received his Doctor of Theology (Dr. Theol.) from Union Theological Seminary, NY in 1965. He was William F. Orr professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, upon his retiremnt. Hare became an American citizen in 1961.
