Philip Edgcumbe Hughes (1915c-1990) was a British scholar.

Biography

Anglican clergyman and NT scholar. Born in Australia, moved to South Africa and then to England, where he was ordained and taught at Tyndale Hall, Bristol, from 1947 to 1953. In 1964 he settled in the United States and thereafter taught in American Seminaries, including Westminster Theological Seminary.
