Donald John Wiseman (1918-2010) was a British scholar.
Biography
Archaeologist, Assyriologist, OT scholar. Professor of Assyriology at the University of London, 1961-1982. Served at different times as director, chairman, president of the British School of Archaeology in Iraq.
