Benjamin B. Warfield (1851-1921) was an American scholar.

Biography

Born near Lexington, KY. Educated at the College of New Jersey (later Princeton University), and Princeton Theological Seminary. After graduation (1876), spent a year in Europe, at Liepzig. From 1878 to 1887, taight at Western Theeological Seminary, Allegheny, PA. In 1887 was appointed Professor of Didactic and Polemical Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he remained 33 years.
