{it} La canta delle marane [1] (Italy, 1961), directed by Cecilia Mangini, on original texts by Pier Paolo Pasolini. <short, doc>

On a hot summer's day, a group of sub-proletarian Roman boys play and laugh in the Marrana, a tributary of the Tiber. The narration, written by Pasolini, tells of their personalities, and of what became of them as adults, in this haunting, elegiac visual poem.
