Xavier Léon-Dufour (1913-2007) was a French scholar.
Biography
Jesuit, NT scholar, theologian. Born on March 7, 1912. Professor of Sacred Scripture at the Centre Sèvres of Paris. A representative of liberal Catholism, remained a controversial figure until Vatican II. Died on November 13, 2007.
