What is Redaction Criticism? (1969) is a book by Norman Perrin

Abstract

In this book, Perrin offers a useful introduction to the methodology used by certain New Testament scholars known as redaction criticism. Perrin traces the development of this hermeneutic in the aftermath of the Second World War, highlighting its contribution and promises for further elucidation of early "Christian" theology. The work includes some samples of redaction criticism which allows students to learn how to apply this method for their own research.--Isaac W. Oliver
