{de} Entdecktes Judenthum <German> / Judaism Unmasked (1700) is a book by Johann Andreas Eisenmenger.
Abstract
A vicious anti-Semitic book. Collects passages from the Talmud (often misquoted out of their original context) in order to give support and credibility to the most infamous accusations against the Jews, including the ritual murder of Christian children and the poisoning of wells. Sadly, it was immensely popular and influential and has remained such in anti-Semitic circles up to the present. Was for centuries the major (if not the only) source-text for Christian scholars who had not direct access to the Talmud, regularly quoted in scholarly bibliographies still in the first half of the 20th century.
