Carol A. Newsom (b.1950) is an American scholar. Charles Howard Candler Professor of Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at the Candler School of Theology and the Graduate Division of Religion at Emory University. A member of the team responsible for the edition and translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
