NOTES : Elie Buzyn was born in Demblin, Poland in 1929. He survived the [[Lodz Ghetto]] and ended up in [[Buchenwald]] at the end of 1944. He was in Block 66, but was nevertheless deported to [[Theresienstadt]], where he was liberated on May 9, 1945. After the war, he was reunited with his mother in Poland. The family then moved to France.
