Спартак <Russian> / Spartacus (1954) is a piece of ballet music by Aram Khachaturian (mus.). The scenario by Nikolai Volkov is based on Spartaco (1873 Giovagnoli), novel.

Abstract

Freely inspired by the story of Spartacus. The work was awarded a Lenin Prize in 1954.
