San Giovanni Battista <Italian> / St John the Baptist (1949) is the Perugia production of San Giovanni Battista (St. John the Baptist / 1675 Stradella / Ansaldi), oratorio, conducted by Gabriele Santini.
Abstract
Siciliani invited the young Maria Callas to perform in this oratorio at the Sagra Musicale Umbra. The performance was broadcast on Italian radio.
