Cezary Kunderewicz (1912-1990) was a Polish scholar, specialist in Roman Law and papyrology. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, studied in the 1930s at the University of Warsaw. Professor of Roman law at the Universities of Warsaw (1945-61) and Lodz (1961-82). Author of one of the first editions of the Dead Sea Scrolls in Polish language, based on the work of Russian scholar Iosif D. Amusin.
