Jane Dammen McAuliffe () is an American scholar. After graduating (1976) in Philosophy and Classics from Trinity College, Jane Dammen McAuliffe earned her MA (1979) in Religious Studies and PhD (1984) in Islamic studies from the University of Toronto, Canada. She taught at Emory University (1986-92, University of Toronto (1992-99), and Georgetown University (1999-2008). In 2008 she was appointed the eighth President of Bryn Mawr College.
