Meir Wallenstein (1903-1996) was an Israeli-British scholar. Born in Jerusalem, he taught in Palestine (1925-29), and Manchester (1932-38), then from 1946 was reader in medieval and modern Hebrew at Manchester University. He settled in Jerusalem in 1970.
