Christus patient <Latin> / Christ's Passion (1608) is a play by Hugo Grotius.

Abstract

A classical Latin drama by the renowned jurist, philosopher and biblical scholar. Among the characters were Jesus of Nazareth, Judas Iscariot, Peter, Pontius Pilate, and Joseph of Arimathea.

Published in 1608. In 1640, translated into English by poet George Sandys (1578-1644).
