István Küzmics (1723-1779) was a Slovenian scholar. Born at Strukovci [Slovenia], was a Lutheran minister and leader of the Slovenes in Hungary. In 1771 he translated the New Testament into the local Slovenian-Prekmurian dialect. He died at Surd [Hungary].
