Rudolf Karl Bultmann (1884-1976) was a German scholar.

Biography

One of the most influential Christian theologians of the 20th century. Professor at the University of Marburg, Germany.

Bultmann was raised in a Lutheran family and was himself a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.
