Storia d’Israele. 2: Dall'esilio al 135 dopo Cristo (1932) is a book by Giuseppe Ricciotti.

Abstract

Second part of a History of Israel, "from the beginning to AD 135." Covers the Second Temple period. It is the first major achievement by Italian Catholic scholarship, and also the first Italian scholarly work in the field to enjoy large international success.

Editions and translations

Published in Turin [Italy]: SEI, 1932. 2nd ed. (1934); 3rd ed. (1937); 4th ed. (1947); 5th ed. (1952). Reissued in 1997, with Forewords by Paolo Sacchi and Achille Erba. Translated into French (1939), Spanish (1947), English (1955), German (1955), and Polish (1956).
