Henri Lammens (1862-1937) was a Belgian Lebanese scholar.

Biography

Born July 1, 1862 in Ghent, Belgium.

After joining the Jesuit Order, he settled permanently in Lebanon, beginning his career as an Orientalist at the School of Oriental Studies at the Jesuit College in Beirut in 1907.

Lammens died in Beirut, Lebanon on April 24, 1937.
