Solomon Rubin (1823-1910) was a Polish Jewish scholar.
Biography
Born in Dolina, Galicia, on April 3, 1823, Rubin was a prolific Neo-Hebrew writer and an enthusiastic supporter of the Haskalah, and an admirer and scholar of Spinoza. Being fluent in German, French and Italian, he spent years in Russia, Austria, and Italy.
