Jonàs <Catalan> / Jonah (1938) is a poem by Josep Carner.

Abstract

Based on the biblical story of Jonah, the poem explores the complexities of faith, dogma, uncertainty and forgiveness through the experience of a prophet who, "recalcitrant,/ and still confused," talks back to God.

The Author also published a Spanish version of the poem, see Nabí (1940 Carner), poetry.
